Thought for the day:

Let come what will, I  mean to bear it out,
And either live with glorious victory
Or die with fame, renowned in chivalry.
He is not worthy of the honeycomb
That shuns the hive because the bees have stings.

A word for the day:

Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.  If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.  Each one should test his own actions.  Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else, for each one should carry his own load.  (Galatians 6:2-5)

Prayer for the day:

Good morning, Lord.  We wake to face another day.  We ask that You guide our actions that we might be a blessing for someone this day.  We are living in a world that we do not recognize because of illness, turmoil and unrest.  These uncertain days remind us that You are faithful and will carry us through the hard places.  Your love sustains us and we are trusting that we may soon see restful times.  Amen.  /mcm
