The WORD for today:
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.  (Luke 16:10)

Thought for the day:
“Life is made up primarily of little things.  Our life consists of days, and the days are composed of minutes.  We never have more than one of them at a time.  From rising in the morning until going to bed at night, you will find that the minutes are filled with little things.  Take care of the minutes.”  –Connie Hopper

Lord,
Keep me from becoming verbose and
possessed with the idea
that I must express myself on every subject.
Release me from the craving
to straighten out everyone’s affairs.
Teach me the glorious lesson that
occasionally I may be wrong.
Make me helpful, but not bossy.
With my vast store of wisdom and experience,
it does seem a pity not to use it all —
But You know, Lord,
I want a few friends at the end.
Amen.
