Thought for the day:

You will never look into the eyes of someone God does not love.  Always be kind.

WORD for he day:

Grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  To Him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity.  (II Peter 3:18)

Right now, we are doing just that. We are growing in grace and in the knowledge of our Savior.
Those around us see this growth and realize that the Master artist is at work. They honor Him as a result.

Someday soon, when this life ends, the paintbrush and palette will be put away.  The last stitch will have been added.  The tools will go back in the Sculptor’s toolkit.  We will be at last what our Creator intended from the first.  Others will see that, and for all eternity, they will praise His artistry.

A word about Pastor John:
Yesterday he had a very bad fall.  He spent the night in the hospital for more testing.  He has a broken arm which will require surgery at some point.  (Please pray for Maycle as it is his right arm and he is right handed.)  He has a bad cut on his eyebrow that required several stitches and a goose egg  Therefore he will have several CT scans to be sure there is no bleeding.

     We ask for your prayers that all will be well and he will heal quickly.  Thank you.

Gracious God, we give You thanks for all the ways You bless us. Remind us. lest we forget, that we are the beloved children of the most High God. We pray for those who are dealing with many situations in these trying times.  We know that You will see us through.  We pray in the blessed name of Jesus.  Amen
